Tasweld Stainless Steel- Superior products and finishes

With a number of Austenetic & Duplex grades of stainless steel, it is important that you can be confident that your stainless steel products are manufactured to the correct standards with the best possible materials. Tasweld uses type 304 and 316 (see note below for further details) in the majority of our products unless otherwise specified by our clients. Materials stored by Tasweld in type 304 and 316 stainless steel include: Plate, Sheet, Flat & Round Bar, Angle, Tube & Hollow Section, Pipe & Tube fittings, Valves, Flanges and Chain. These are all on hand for immediate use in workshop and site projects.

Note- Stainless Steel Types used by Tasweld:

Type 304—the most common grade; the classic 18/8 stainless steel.

Type 316—the second most common grade (after 304); for food and surgical uses etc. The alloy addition of molybdenum prevents specific forms of corrosion. It is also known as marine grade stainless steel due to its increased resistance to chloride corrosion compared to type 304.
